In partnership with NTN, Dr. Modrek and the Learning to Learn (L2L) Lab will be studying effects of learning outcomes, discipline, and extracurricular activities on long-term academic achievement.
Graduating senior, Rachel Reyes, presents her work at the 35th Human Behavior and Evolution Society (HBES) Conference at Aarhus University in Denmark.
Rachel received not one, but two, travel awards to present her thesis.

Dr. Modrek receives the 2023 Thomas Jefferson Provost Early Career Faculty Achievement Award. The Provost’s Early Career Faculty Achievement Award recognizes a TJU faculty member who has made exceptional progress during the first ten years of their initial faculty appointment.
Dr. Modrek will be giving a talk in The Development of Information-seeking and Reasoning Biases Across the Lifespan session at the SRCD Biennial Meeting in Minneapolis! “Explaining Outdoes Evidence in Supporting Belief Revision.”
